The journey of life is full of promise, adventure and challenges. None of us know what tomorrow holds, we enjoy each day and make daily investments as part of our preparation and hope for tomorrow. When we come upon unexpected turns in life’s journey, how do we ‘ride out the storm’? When it seems like our life’s journey is passing through a whiteout with zero visibility or we suffer a loss that seems irreplaceable on this side of eternity, how do we learn to trust the eyes and provision of The One who holds all our tomorrows? Psalm 34:19 says “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all”. Whether the storms are enemy- or self-inflicted, the Deliverer is the same and He came not only to seek and save the lost but also to redeem that which was lost.
