And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” And he said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.” Luke 10: 27 - 28
Rooting your identity in being loved by God is the first step to loving others well. We love because God first loved us.
We root in God’s unconditional love for us, from that place we love God in return.
God loves you, the real you, so you can love the real you too.
Out of God’s love, we can love others well.
Truly loving others will fulfill the desire in us for significance.
