Liar, liar, pants on fire. Lying can make us feel like we can control what people think, lying makes us feel protected, lying gives us the initial relief of temporary avoidance but the truth is, that all of these reasons to lie are more lies and they cannot actually do any of the things they promise. Lying hurts us more than we would ever care to admit or acknowledge because if we truly owned the devastating effects of our lies we wouldn’t do it, but we lie to ourselves about lying and never take the time to get truly honest with ourselves. Satan is a liar and he knows if he can get us to believe a lie then his work is done because the only thing that can set us free is the truth. How do we know if we are believing lies? It’s a hard question to answer. In this episode, Rhonda and Lori face a few of their own lies and struggle through the painful process of just being ok with who they are, so they can drop the lies and walk in the truth that freedom brings.

There is a lot of shame around the topic of money. It’s often an area where we need to hide the truth from spouses, partners or friends about our spending habits, spending secrets and spending mistakes. When it comes to money, we can’t actually hide the truth forever. The truth will eventually show up in our life when we spend more than we make.
In this episode, Rhonda and Lori talk a little about their own shame in regards to money, how their upbringing affected their idea of money and some tips they have learned for practising good stewardship.
